Kurt V. Mikkelsen is a professor of theoretical chemistry at the Department of Chemistry, University of Copenhagen, Copenhagen, Denmark. He has published three books and more than 300 papers in almost all areas of theoretical chemistry. He has for more than twenty years been teaching chemistry, physics and nanoscience students at the University of Copenhagen.
