Khalid Al-jarba, PhD, is the head of the Process Technology and Licensing Dept. at SABIC Technology & Innovation (Qordoba District Global Headquarters, Riyadh 11422, Saudi Arabia, Email:Jarbaka@SABIC.com). He oversees more than 80 experts and researchers in areas including technology licensing, plant support, process improvement and optimization, process design package (PDP) development, and growth projects. He has an MS in metallurgy from the Univ. of Sheffield, U.K., and a PhD in materials science and engineering from the Univ. of Florida, as well as an MBA from Arizona State Univ.
