Ken Tague had 38 years of experience in the chemical and agricultural processing industries before retiring in 2019. He has been a lead auditor in over 100 Process Safety Management compliance audits. He is a Certified Safety Professional as well as a CCPS Certified Process Safety Professional. He has given training on PHA/LOPA, Hazard Identification, Incident Warning signs, PSM rule, PSM Program auditing, Risk, Combustible Dust, and Process Safety Boot Camps. He is an Emeritus Member of the CCPS, a member of the Technical Steering Committee (TSC) and former member of the Planning Committee. He has contributed to the CCPS subcommittee that developed web based training for Hazard Identification for Maintenance and Operations Workers, and to “Guidelines” books on aging assets and infrastructure, prevention of the normalization of deviancy, and learning from previous process safety incidents. He organized Archer Daniels Midland's AIChE faculty workshops promoting undergraduate Chemical Engineering Education 2016 and 2017. He is currently serving as staff consultant to the CCPS on Vision 20/20.
