Keith A. Lehman has been designing and implementing advanced process control (APC) and multivariable control (MVC) applications for more than 25 years. He is a specialist in ethylene plant APC and optimization, but also has experience with a wide variety of other petrochemical and refinery processes. He started his consulting company Empirical Process Solutions in 2004 after working as an APC engineer/consultant with Stone & Webster, DMC Corp., and AspenTech. In addition to his project activities, Lehman trains engineers and operators to use and maintain APC applications. He earned his BS in chemical engineering from Texas A&M Univ.
