Keerthi Srinivas

Dr. Keerthi Srinivas got his PhD at the Ralph E. Martin Department of Chemical Engineering in University of Arkansas, Fayetteville under the guidance of Dr. Jerry W. King in 2010. The focus of his doctoral research was on the measurement and prediction of thermodynamic and mass transfer properties of flavonoids in high temperature water. He continued his work under Dr. Jerry W. King as a post-doctoral research fellow on research involving measurement of solution thermodynamic properties and adsorption properties of various biopolymers and the hydrolysis of biomass substrates. He has also worked on the SC-CO2 and liquid extraction of chia seeds and agave extracts. His work resulted in 13 publications, 2 book chapters, 15 oral presentations and 11 poster presentations in various regional, national and international conferences. His research and expertise focuses on issues relating to biomass transformations to biofuels, and value-added economies related to fuel and food industries.
