Katelyn has evaluated, developed, and implemented solutions across several technology domains, including ruggedized hardware, wearable devices, mobile worker connectivity, advanced process control, and wireless network infrastructure. Katelyn serves as Dow’s program manager for interactions with MxD, the digital advanced manufacturing institute where she also led efforts to develop and deploy a process industry test bed for piloting digital manufacturing and connected worker capabilities. Katelyn joined Dow in 2017 within the Information Research group of Dow’s global Core R&D organization as a Process Control (PC) Systems Engineer, supporting the construction and commissioning of over 30 automation systems at the new Dow Texas Innovation Center. She has served as a director for the International Society of Automation (ISA) Image and Membership Committee and as a member of the ISA Education Committee. Katelyn has been an active coach and mentor for the FIRST robotics program as well as in promoting women in STEM. Most recently, Katelyn received the 2022 Next-Generation Leadership Award from the National Association of Manufacturers’ Manufacturing Leadership Council.
