
Dr. Jorge Peña is a Principal Process Engineer and Technology Expert at Technip Energies, leading efforts in hydrogen production and CO₂ capture projects within the Hydrogen Technology group. With nearly two decades of experience in process technology and design, Jorge has played a key role in advancing hydrogen innovation through novel integrated solutions and process configurations. As lead engineer on several hydrogen programs, he has contributed to patent-pending technologies that simplify carbon capture and reduce emissions cost-effectively. His focus includes feasibility studies and front-end design in the hydrogen technology space.
Alongside his engineering work, Jorge contributes to Technip Energies’ commercial and business development activities by providing technical input for project proposals, client discussions, and strategic planning in the hydrogen sector. He is a member of Technip’s technical expertise program and has presented at events such as the T.EN Hydrogen Seminar in Claremont, CA. Jorge holds a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from UCLA and is a licensed Professional Engineer in California.
