I started my life as chemical engineer in 1988 when I started my education at the Technical University of Delft in the Department of Chemical Engineering. I joined Technip in 1995 as an engineer of the ethylene group. I have been exposed to essentially all the aspects of the ethylene, from initial feasibility studies, through all sales and engineering phases into the actual start-up support. And it does not end there, since the ever growing demand for ethylene has also resulted in an increased demand for capacity expansion studies and projects. I am member of the EEPC workgroup 2 and the EEPC issue group maintenance and CUI. I am the technology manager for the ethylene product line in Technip Benelux (Netherlands) since 2008.
