Research Engineer
Mr. Jerrad Thomas is the carbon capture, utilization, and sequestration projects manager at Southern Company. He oversees carbon capture projects at the large pilot scale spanning a range of technologies, which are located at host sites throughout the Southern Company network. He previously held positions as project manager and project engineer at Forsythe and Long Engineering, a design/build engineering firm in north Alabama, and he holds two bachelor of science degrees from the University of Alabama, one in chemical engineering and one in physics. Currently, he is pursuing his Professional Engineer licensure in the State of Alabama.
