Jerold Danis is a principal metallurgical engineer at the Equity Engineering Group, Inc., where he provides consulting in refinery industry corrosion and welding. He is the lead instructor of courses on corrosion damage mechanisms, metallurgical engineering, and welding engineering. Before joining Equity Engineering, he retired from ExxonMobil as a distinguished engineering associate following a 30-year career. Danis received a BS in mechanical engineering from the Univ. of Massachusetts and an MS in metallurgy from Stevens Institute of Technology.
