Dr. Hocheol Song is a professor in the Department of Environment and Energy at Sejong University in Korea. He received his Ph.D. degree from Clemson University, USA, in the department of Environmental Engineering and Earth Sciences in 2003. After 3 years of career in a national research institute of Korea, he has been working as a faculty member of Sejong University since 2011. His major teaching and research interests are the chemistry and cleanup of environmentally significant pollutants. His specific research themes are environmental redox processes, soil and groundwater remediation, and biochar synthesis and application. He has published more than 110 international journal papers in the related fields.
