Ellen Kloppenborg is currently a specialist in the Process Design Development group at Honeywell UOP. Ellen has worked at UOP for the past seven years, in which she has held prior roles in Field Services, Technology Services and Development, covering various technologies in the refining and petrochemicals industries. She is a licensed Professional Engineer in Illinois.
Ellen received her BS in Chemical Engineering from the Illinois Institute of Technology in 2009. She was very active in AIChE there, serving as treasurer, president, and outreach coordinator of the group.
Ellen is currently a Director at Large for the AIChE Chicago Local Section. She has been involved with student outreach activities with the section since she graduated from college, and now coordinates the High School Outreach Program for the Midwest Regional Conference.
