Elena Vyazmina holds two PhDs (Chemical Engineering-2007, Fluid Mechanics-2010) and has over 15 years of experience at Air Liquide dedicated to hydrogen safety. Her work focuses on establishing safety and interoperability requirements across the hydrogen technology lifecycle (production, storage, distribution, applications). She is highly involved in various standardization committees (ISO, CEN CENELEC) and has co-authored over 100 international scientific publications on hydrogen, participating in numerous pre-normative projects. She actively contributes to EIGA and CGA, defining best practices for industrial and public hydrogen installations. She has been a member of the European Hydrogen Safety Panel since 2018, a leader since 2022, and was listed in the '50 Women in Hydrogen' (Policy and Regulation category) in 2024. Since 2023, she manages Task 43 on Safety and RCS of Large-Scale Hydrogen Energy Applications.
