Dennis Kalman

Dennis Kalman received his BS in Chemical Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology in 2004 and his PhD in Chemical Engineering from the University of Delaware in 2010. While an undergraduate, he worked with nonwoven fabrics in both manufacturing and product development R&D as a co-op for Kimberly Clark Corporation.  PhD research at the University of Delaware focused on the interplay between shear-induced microstructure and rheological behavior of colloidal suspensions, with an application in liquid body armor. He joined Solvay Specialty Polymers in 2011, as a member of the R&D Industrialization group, with the responsibility for transfer of new products from R&D to manufacturing and the transfer of existing products between Solvay global compounding plants.
