Professor David White holds the Shell EMI Chair in Offshore Engineering at UWA. He has published ~200 papers and his research projects have attracted 7 awards from industry. He is a geotechnical engineer with interests in site characterisation, foundation design and pipeline engineering. His research is widely used in industry practice and has been adopted in ISO and DNV design codes.
