David Robichaud has more than 10 years of technical and leadership experience in biomass conversion technologies. He has led a variety of experimental and computational projects investigating the foundational science of catalysis and conversion technologies that support the development of the biomass economy. He has actively pursued opportunities that exploit the synergy between multiscale computational modeling with robust experimental techniques to enable the applied R&D biomass program at the National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL). Currently he is the principle investigator for Thermal and Catalytic Process Development Unit (TCPDU), NREL’s largest pilot facility for the investigation of thermochemical carbon conversion technologies.
