David Lynch has over 20 years of experience in the development of new products and processes, as well as directing facility operations. Currently, he manages the operations and activities of Enerkem’s pilot and laboratory facilities in Alberta. Research activities include conversion of heterogeneous feedstock to syngas and scalable advanced bio-products. Prior to joining Enerkem, David managed the testing and operation of a plasma gasification demonstration facility. He also consulted on the design of one of a kind processes and facilities for the safe destruction of chemical munitions. He has built on his experience from the energetics industry, where he implemented, performed and improved numerous chemical processes for the development and scale-up of energetic and specialty chemical products. David holds a Master of Science degree in Management of Technology from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from Fairfield University.
