Conor Gearin is a science writer and editor from St. Louis, MO, living in Rhode Island. His work has appeared in The Best American Science and Nature Writing, MIT Technology Review, New Scientist, The Atlantic, NOVA Next, UnDark Magazine, Chemical Engineering Progress, and elsewhere. He earned his SM in science writing at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and MS in biology at the Univ. of Nebraska Omaha, where he was the Rhoden Biological Sciences Academic Year Fellow. He earned a BS in Biology and a BA in English at Truman State Univ.
