Chandan Kundu is a Final year PhD student from the Department of Chemical Engineering, Monash University, Australia. He is working on the conversion of biomass to produce high-value platform chemicals through the thermocatalytic route. Before commencing his PhD, he completed his master's in Wood Science and Engineering from Chonnam National University, South Korea. Notably, he worked on wood chemistry on the improvement of ethanol fermentability from lignocellulosic biomass through deacetylation and detoxification processes. Mr Kundu completed bachelor and masters in Forestry from Shahjalal University of Science and Technology, Bangladesh.
