Dr. Morrison is Senior Vice President of Operations & Site Management of Greater China at BASF. He began his career at BASF in Germany in 1993 and holds a Ph.D. in Physical Chemistry from the University of Sydney.
Prior to 2013, when Morrison became the Senior Vice President of Operations & Site Management Greater Chine, BASF Co. in Shanghai, he served as the Vice President of Technical Operations, Dispersions & Pigments Asia Pacific, BASF East Asia Regional Headquarters in Hong Kong starting in 2009.
In 2006, Morrison was the Vice President of Production & Supply Chain Managemnt, Functional Polymers, BASF South East Asia, and in 2004, was the Business Director of Functional Polymers, BASF Australia. In 1999, he held the title of Site Manager of Altona Manufacturing, BASF Australia.
In 1997, Morrison was the Deputy Plant Manager in Acronal® Plant, BASF AG, as well as the Marketing Officer of Architectural Coatings, Polymers Europe Business Unit, BASF AG, both in Ludwigshafen, Germany. In 1994, Morrison worked as a Reasearch Chemist for Styrene-Butadiene Dispersions, BASF AG in Ludwigshafen, Germany as well.
In 1993, Morrison was a post doctorate at Polymer Research Laboratories, BASF AG, in Ludwigshafen, Germany.
