Benson Pair, now retired, was the Chief Technology Engineer- Environmental at KBR, previously responsible for the Environmental Engineering Group in the Project Definition Department. He provided technical oversight and was responsible for the Environmental Engineering work performed in support of KBR projects both domestic and international. Mr. Pair has served in Technical Oversight and consultant capacity on domestic and international environmental control projects at KBR for over 30 years. He has extensive air and wastewater permitting experience in industrial power generation, LNG, olefins, refining, ammonia, and organic chemicals projects. He has supported projects that were involved in domestic permitting (State and Federal) and international approvals (Ex-Im Bank, World Bank, etc). He has experience in over a dozen states and ten foreign countries. He has extensive experience in working with FERC, having supported domestic LNG projects for nearly 20 years.
Mr. Pair is a licensed professional engineer in the State of Texas and a Board Certified Environmental Engineer. He has over 45 years’ experience in all facets of project development, from site selection, through permitting, feasibility studies, FEED, detailed design, construction and start-up.
