I am a Scientist at Invizyne Technologies. We are a start-up focusing on scaling multi-enzyme reaction cascades from bench-scale to commercialization. I did my PhD with Tobias Erb at the Max Planck Institute in Marburg working on the reaction mechanism of CO2 fixing enzymes and their relatives. I then worked with Mike Jewett at Northwestern on developing a high-throughput platform for cell-free assembly of multi-enzyme pathways. We prototyped enzymatic pathways for the synthesis of hexanol from steel-mill waste gas in C. autoethanogenum in collaboration with LanzaTech.
