ANDREW CELIN is site supervisor of a steam methane reformer for Air Products’ HyCO Business (Martinez, CA; Phone: (925) 313-8990; Email: celinat@airproducts.com). He supports daily plant operations, safety, maintenance, and management of the reforming furnace, hydrogen purification and production, and steam generation systems. He has spent his career in the industrial gases industry, with positions in HyCO operations, process design, and commercial technology, and he has process and operations experience in a variety of hydrogen production and purification techniques, including cryogenic carbon monoxide and syngas production. He holds a BS in chemical engineering from Lehigh Univ.
