Andreas Sachs has been an engineer at Siemens for the past 35 years and a product manager with Siemens for the past 20 years, where he is responsible for batch and control software products. His expertise is in system software development and project implementation, mainly for batch processes in the chemical, pharmaceutical, and food and beverage industries. He holds an engineering diploma in communications engineering from the Univ. of Applied Sciences in Karlsruhe, Germany. He is a member of ISA88 and is co-chair of ISA106.
