Ali Altaee is an assistant professor at the engineering and computer science faculty at Abu Dhabi University. He works at the civil and enviroenmental engineering departmnt. During his work at the Abu Dhabi university he managed to establish the desalination and water treatment center whcih reflects the importance of desaination technology in the Unted aran emirates and the middle east. before Abu dhabi university, ali worked for doosan water R&D center for water desalination and wastewater treatment. He was involved in several large projects built by Doosan in the middle east. He also was a researcher at Surrey University and membrane of CORA center for osmosis and seawaer desalination. He worked on the development of forward osmosis for seawater desalnation. During his work at Surrey university he was in charge of the design and operation of a pilot plant uses forward osmosis for seawater desaination.
