Alan is the Founder and Executive Director of ProfilePrint, a Singapore-based FoodTech, which developed a rapid A.I. food analyser that can rapidly authenticate, identify adulteration and predict blend recommendations and taste profiles using its proprietary machine-learning algorithm and a combination of chemometrics and sensor technology. The technology solution can analyse plant-based product, but is first focusing on a few main verticals – Tea, Coffee, Herbs, Spices and Traditional Chinese Medicine, products prone to counterfeit varieties and other scams. Alan is an aeronautical engineer by training, and has spent earlier part of his career in United Kingdom, China and Singapore in the areas of M&A Investment, PE/VC and Technology. Alan completed his Executive programme at Tsinghua School of Management, and under a Singapore Scholarship, graduated with Diplome d'Ingenieur from Ecole Centrale Paris, a Masters and Bachelors of Engineering (1st Class Honours) from the National University of Singapore.
