Abraham Schuitman – Process Development Group Leader at Corteva Agriscience in Indianapolis, IN.   

Abe started at Dow in 2004 as a process engineer in the Dow AgroSciences Tech Center where he supported the start-up of two herbicides (Penoxsulam and Pyroxsulam).  After he switched to R&D in 2006, he worked on a variety of development projects including a continuous reductive amination for coating applications, ceramics, and a collaboration with the University of Minnesota focused on the catalytic conversion of C2-C4 oxygenates.  In 2019 Abe transitioned fully into the Agrochemical space with Corteva and has since focused on process development for small molecules. 

Abe received a BS in Chemical Engineering from Michigan State University and a MS in Chemical Engineering from the University of Michigan.   He is a certified Green Belt Project Leader, a Professional Engineer licensed in the state of Michigan, and holds seven granted patents.
