
Wenfang Liu received her Ph.D in Materials Science from Tsinghua University in China in January 2005 under the supervision of Prof. Jian Yu. She was a postdoctoral associate in the group of Prof. Ping Wang during 2005-2006 at National Key Laboratory of Biochemical Engineering, Institute of Processing Engineering, Chinese Academy of Sciences. She holds B.E. and M.S. degrees in polymer from Tianjin University of Science and Technology in China. She joined the Department of Chemical Engineering and Control, School of Chemical Engineering and Environment, Beijing Institute of Technology (BIT) as Lecturer in January 2007. She has a multi-discipline research background in polymer design and synthesis, polymer-inorganic nanocomposites, enzyme immobilization and biocatalysis. She is a Master’s advisor since 2008, currently directs 4 master students in the surface modification of polymer microporous membrane and enzyme immobilization. Her research is sponsored by Chinese National Science Foundation, Ministry of Education and BIT.
