
Dr. Steve Leith joined Pacific Northwest National Laboratory (PNNL) in August, 2009 and in his current position as senior research engineer is responsible for developing and demonstrating cost-competitive fabrication platforms for manufacutring of metal-based arrayed microchannel devices. Prior to PNNL, Dr. Leith held a number of positions in process development and engineering management in both the public and private sectors including positions with Sandia National Laboratory, Hewlett-Packard and RMT International. Through the course of his career, Dr. Leith has focused on development of materials and processes used in fabrication of nano- and micro-scale architectures for semiconductor, memory, display and micro-fluidic devices. Dr. Leith has authored or co-authored 13 peer reviewed journal articles and holds nine patents for innovations in microfluidic, memory and display technologies. Dr. Leith holds B.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Chemical Engineering from the University of Washington and an M.S. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Colorado.
