B.S. Chemical Engineer Northwestern University; investigates process design and economics for the full energy-chain analysis of fossil, nuclear and renewable power cycles using ASPEN®. Coming from a background with Arco, he led the DOE Energy Environmental Monitoring work at the Great Plains Coal-gasification plant including interaction with regulatory agencies. He has responsibility for staff conducting studies relating to bench-scale chemistry and fluid dynamics of advanced energy systems; he was the lead for the CO2 transport chapter supporting the Nobel-Peace Prize recognized efforts of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change Working Group-III Special Report on CO2 Capture and Sequestration.
