Reyad has worked in BP for over 19 years and joined as a graduate with a master’s degree in chemical engineering and chemical technology from Imperial College, London. He has worked in all of BP's operational business segments and in corporate roles in finance and BP's executive office. In exploration and production he worked in commercial roles in UK Offshore and in Algeria. In retail and marketing, he led European supply and logistics, and US commercial fuels marketing. Reyad has also worked in corporate finance and mergers and acquisitions. His previous role was chief executive of BP’s global chemicals manufacturing business based in Asia.
