Paul Lambert has a degree in Chemistry from Newcastle University in the UK and a PhD from the department of Chemical Engineering at the South Bank University in London UK. He is a fellow of the RSC, a chartered chemist & scientist and a companion member of the Institution of Chemical Engineers. He has over 32 years experience in industry working in R&D, scale up, production but mostly in safety, health and environment. Currently he is head of Environment, Safety and Health for the Health and Nutrition business unit of Evonik Industries. His special interests are in technical safety and the role of people in safety culture. He is an invited speaker at numerous conferences, has written ca 28 papers, chaired 6 conferences and written sections of three books. He has been married for 29 years and has two children.
