Dr Murthy Konda is currently a ORISE postdoctoral fellow at National Energy Technology Laboratory (NETL), US Department of Energy (DOE). Prior to joining NETL, Murthy was a research associate in the Centre for Process Systems Engineering (CPSE) at Imperial College London. He received his PhD (2007) in Chemical Engineering from the National University of Singapore (NUS). He has extensive research experiences in modeling, design, control, optimization, analysis and simulation of energy systems at multiple length and time scales. He has authored or co-authored several research articles and book chapters. His research focus is primarily on clean and green energy technologies with a particular attention to carbon capture and storage, hydrogen and renewable energy systems. Main areas of application include power generation, oil and gas, petrochemicals and transport sectors.
