NED LEONARD As Vice President of Program Services and working out of the Office of the President & CEO, Ned Leonard supports the American Coalition for Clean Coal Electricity's senior management in the areas of State Affairs, Federal Affairs and Policy, Communications, and association Operations. His primary focus is on clean coal technologies, including those involved in carbon dioxide capture, storage, transportation, and beneficial use. Ned currently assists the Sr. VP for State Affairs in management of three-state campaign organized to persuade the Obama EPA to extend the deadline for utility compliance with a half-dozen proposed clean air and water regulations. His background includes twenty-four years managing communications and advocacy programs for the Western Fuels Association, work on the staff of Senator George McGovern (D-SD) from 1977 through 1980, and as a public information officer within the U.S. Bureau of Reclamation.
