Dr. Li has broad experience in the field of materials science, including glasses, ceramics, inorganic absorbents, heterogeneous catalysts, inorganic ion exchangers, and electrical energy storage materials. He has published more than 50 peer-reviewed scientific papers in these areas. He also has three US patents granted, and ten other US patent applications on file. Currently, Dr. Li is a project manager and lead principle investigator at Pacific Northwest National Laboratory. At this position, he has both research management and technical supervisory responsibilities for the execution of governmental and industrial projects. He received a Ph.D. degree in Nuclear Chemical Engineering from China Institute of Atomic Energy in 1995.
