John T. Perez received his BS in chemical engineering from Rice University. He worked as a process engineer for Rohm & Haas for 4.5 years before joining Berwanger. Mr. Perez focused on the pressure relief analysis business for Berwanger, first as a process engineer and then as the business development manager. In 2004, he started up Celerity3 Engineering, which provided process engineering and process safety solutions. He sold C3 to Lloyd's Register in 2008. After staying with LR for 2 years, John Perez left in November of 2010 to start Cognascents. Cognascents is a business consultancy focused on leadership development, strategy, and delivery excellence. Mr. Perez is a Professional Engineer registered in Texas with foreign licensure in Alberta, Canada.
