John Cirucci is a Senior Engineering Associate at Air Products and Chemicals, Inc. currently working in renewable energy process development. He is the Chair of the Societal Impact Operating Council of the American Institute of Chemical Engineers, with accountability for Global Outreach, K-12 Outreach, Government Relations, Minority Affairs, and Women’s Initiatives.
John is an active member of Engineers Without Borders – USA (EWB-USA). He has coordinated the collaboration efforts between AIChE and EWB-USA since 2008. He is a founder and Past President of his local EWB-USA Professional Chapter, engaged in rebuilding infrastructure at a war-torn secondary school in Sierra Leone. He also serves as a professional mentor to the EWB-USA Student Chapter at Lehigh University, working to provide clean, reliable water to a rural community in Honduras.
John received his B.S. Degree in Chemical Engineering from The Pennsylvania State University, and his M.S. Degree in Chemical Engineering from Lehigh University.
