Mr. Nguyen has been working with process safety management since the standard was promulgated by OSHA in 1992. He worked for OSHA for 22 years with 15 years as an assistant area director and PSM manager before retiring in 2008. While working for OSHA, Mr. Nguyen conducted and supervised over 500 accident and incident investigations. Mr. Nguyen is currently working for Siemens Oil and Gas as a principal PSM engineer. In his present role, Mr. Nguyen conducts PSM consultation and training for companies all over the U.S. as well as internationally. Mr. Nguyen is a devoted safety and health professional. His work earned him numerous special achievement awards and recognitions from various U.S. Secretaries of Labor. Mr. Nguyen holds a BSME from the University of Alabama in Birmingham.
