The AIChE Minority Affairs Committee (MAC) has launched a fundraising campaign for the Janice Lumpkin Travel Award, thanks to an initial gift from Jessica Winter. Named in honor of Dr. Janice Lumpkin, the award provides travel stipends and registration support for underrepresented students attending the AIChE Annual Meeting. With nearly 50% of the $25,000 goal already committed, MAC invites the community to contribute and continue Dr. Lumpkin’s legacy of inclusion and opportunity in chemical engineering.
