Mykel Green

Dr. Mykel Green is an Assistant Professor of Biomedical Engineering at Tulane University, where he leads the Regenerative Engineering and Equity Lab (REEL), designing biomaterial technologies to address health disparities, with a focus on sickle cell disease. An alumnus of Morehouse College with a degree in Biology, he earned his Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering from The City College of New York under Dr. Gilda Barabino. Jaimie Marie Stewart

Dr. Jaimie Marie Stewart is an assistant professor in the Department of Bioengineering at the University of California, Los Angeles. Her research exploits the structural and functional programmability of RNA to design and synthesize RNA materials capable of interfacing with biological systems to advance applications in molecular sensing and regenerative medicine.
