Dr. Mykel Green is an Assistant Professor of Biomedical Engineering at Tulane University, where he leads the Regenerative Engineering and Equity Lab (REEL), designing biomaterial technologies to address health disparities, with a focus on sickle cell disease. An alumnus of Morehouse College with a degree in Biology, he earned his Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering from The City College of New York under Dr. Gilda Barabino.
