The December issue of the AIChE Journal is the fourth annual Futures issue. The contributions span the diverse spectrum of chemical engineering research with eight of the nine thematic areas of the journal represented.
The objective of this module is to introduce students of grades 9th to 12th to the fundamentals of fluid mechanics through a Do-it-yourself module based on the popular theory of Heron’s Fountain. Interactive handouts have been developed whose aim is to guide students to understand the concepts involved through engaging questions which are followed by a step-wise procedure to construct the model at home.
