Management of Change (MOC) has been a regulatory requirement for more than twenty years and yet as an industry, we are still struggling with it. However, this hasn’t stopped regulators from expanding the scope. Management of Change is perhaps the most difficult business process to implement at a facility, but one with a high potential for significant positive returns through not only reduced incidents but also leveraged system learnings that can drive operational and production efficiencies.
