Genevieve holds a Bachelor of Science with concentration in Microbiology and Immunology and a Masters in Molecular Biology from McGill University. In 2006, she began her professional career as a laboratory technician in the federal government. In 2008, she joined the Public Health Agency of Canada’s Centre for Biosecurity, where she has since held roles in compliance and enforcement, and policy and program development.
