William Schiesser

William E. (Bill) Schiesser is Emeritus McCann Professor of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering, Computational Biomedical Engineering, and Mathematics at Lehigh University. He joined the Department of Chemical Engineering at Lehigh University in 1960 immediately following his Ph.D. at Princeton University. He has won numerous awards for both teaching and research and was awarded an honorary doctorate from the University of Mons in Belgium in 2004. Qi Zhang is currently an assistant professor in the Department of Chemical Engineering and Materials Science at the University of Minnesota. Victor M. Zavala is the Baldovin-DaPra Associate Professor in the Department of Chemical and Biological Engineering at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Before joining UW-Madison, he was a computational mathematician in the Mathematics and Computer Science Division at Argonne National Laboratory. Sigurd Skogestad is professor of chemical engineering at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU). He received the Siv.ing. degree (M.S.) in chemical engineering at NTNU in 1978 and the Ph.D. degree from the California Institute of Technology in 1987.
