Yi Fan

Yi Fan is currently an Associate Research Scientist at the Solids Processing Group in the Corporate R&D of The Dow Chemical Company. David Riestenberg

Mr. David E. Riestenberg is a Project Manager with Advanced Resources International, Inc.  He has over 14 years of experience in the energy sector, with emphasis on the use of carbon dioxide for both enhanced hydrocarbon recovery and sequestration. Kafui Dzirasa

Kafui Dzirasa was born to Samuel and Abigail Dzirasa, who grew up as neighbors in an area outside of Accra, Ghana. His father came to the US in 1971 when he was accepted into the Civil Engineering Program at MIT, and his mother followed soon after completing a nursing degree in England. After graduation, his father went on to obtain an MBA from the Sloan School of Business. Kafui was born in Boston, MA in 1978, and grew up with his three brothers and a sister in Silver Spring.

Wilfred Chen

Professor Wilfred Chen joined the University of Delaware in  2011 as the Gore Professor of Chemical Engineering. He obtained his B.S. degree from UCLA and his Ph.D. from Caltech, both in Chemical Engineering. After one-year postdoc in Switzerland, he joined UC Riverside in 1994. He was Professor of Chemical and Environmental Engineering and the holder of Presidential Chair until he joined Delaware. His research interests are in Synthetic Biology and Protein Engineering. Matthew Realff

Professor Realff completed his Bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering at Imperial College London in 1986, and was a Kennedy scholar 1986-87 at MIT, where he earned a Ph.D. in 1992.  He has been a faculty member at The Georgia Institute of Technology since 1993, and is currently the David Wang Senior Faculty Fellow in the School of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering.
