Zhixia Ye

Dr. Zhixia Ye received her B.S. in Chemistry from Beijing Institute of Technology, and Ph.D. in Chemistry from North Carolina State University. She is currently a Postdoctoral Associate at Duke University in the Department of Biomedical Engineering, advised by Michael D. Lynch. Her research interests are dynamic metabolic control using CRISPRi and controlled proteolysis based synthetic metabolic valves in 2-stage bioprocesses, enabling microbial metabolic network minimization.
