Stephanie L. Pfirman

Stephanie L. Pfirman, Professor of Environmental Science and Alena Wels Hirschorn '58 and Martin Hirschorn Professor of Environmental and Applied Sciences, joined the faculty of Barnard College in 1993, and serves as co-Chair of Barnard's Department of Environmental Science.  She holds a joint appointment with Columbia University where she is a member of the faculties of the Earth Institute and the Department of Earth and Environmental Sciences, and Adjunct Research Scientist the Lamont-Doherty Earth Observatory of Columbia University. ...Read more

Martin Stute

Martin Stute, Ann Whitney Olin Associate Professor of Environmental Science, began teaching at Barnard in 1993 and became a full-time faculty member in 1995. He presently serves as Associate Chair of Barnard's Department of Environmental Science. Professor Stute holds a concurrent position as Adjunct Research Scientist at the Lamont-Doherty Earth Observatory.Read more

Patrick V. Brady

Patrick Brady is a Senior Scientist at Sandia National Laboratories and has authored or co-authored several dozen peer-reviewed journal articles, 11 patents, in the fields of water treatment, contaminant chemistry, enhanced oil recovery, nuclear waste disposal, and climate change. He’s been at Sandia since 1993 while serving as the adjunct Assistant Professor of Civil and Environmental Engineering at New Mexico Institute of Mining and Technology, Socorro, New Mexico since 1998.
