Announcing the Environmental Division Endowment Fund
The AIChE® Foundation and Environmental Division is pleased to announce our latest collaboration, the Environmental Division Endowment Fund. The fund will support AIChE’s most prestigious environmental award, the Lawrence K. Cecil Award, in perpetuity.
The Cecil award recognizes an AIChE member for their outstanding chemical engineering contribution and achievement in the preservation or improvement of the environment. The endowed fund enables us to celebrate the environmental accomplishments, recognize outstanding leaders of our profession and inspire the new generation of chemical engineers to be better stewards of our planet. Our goal is to raise $50,000.
We are delighted to share, our most recent 2021 Cecil Awardee and division Secretary, Dr. Robert Peters, P.E. has generously donated to support the fund.
