[December 20, 2021] Dr. Rashi Tiwari was selected to receive the Management Division 2022 Young Leader Award. Dr. Tiwari is currently Associate Technical Services and Development Director in North America for the Packaging and Specialty Plastics at Dow. The Awards Committee selected Rashi for her accomplishments in delivering US$553 million in innovation product sales supporting 168 customers for Dow.
[June 13, 2021] Senyo Opong was selected as the recipient of this year’s Management Award. The award will be presented at the AIChE Annual Meeting to be held in November 2021 in Boston, Massachusetts.
Joe Cramer has served the Management Division in many capacities for many years, which resulted in being recognized with the division service award in 2021.
[February 11, 2021] The Management Division Young Leader Award recognizes an outstanding leader age 40 or younger who has made a significant contribution and made an impact in the practice or field of chemical engineering.
[June 16, 2020] Scott Klara was named as recipient of this year’s Management Award. The award will be presented at the AIChE Annual Meeting to be held in November 2020 in San Francisco, California.
The Management Division created a Service Award in 2017 to recognize outstanding service to the division. The 2020 recipient of this award is Frank van Lier, who has been contributing to the division for at least the last 20 years.
[February 22, 2020] Dr. Rui Cruz has been selected as the first recipient of the Young Leader Award, recently created by the Management Division to recognize an outstanding leader age 40 or younger. He will be presented the award at the 2020 AIChE Spring Meeting in Houston, Texas, USA.
[November 2019] The Management Division presented the 2019 Management Award to Dr. Cristina Thomas, Manager of Corporate R&D Services Center at 3M, on November 12, 2019 at a special session during the AIChE Annual Meeting.
