With more than $1.8 T in capital expenditures around the globe, the downstream processing industries will see a surge in new processing capacity over the next decade. Although the Asia-Pacific region is the clear leader in new capacity additions, the US and Middle East are investing heavily to boost processing capacity, as well. This presentation will focus on global capital construction, including active/new project numbers by region/sector and the major trends/factors that are leading to increased capital spending. This report will include a detailed look at the US’ position in capital spending and how the region compares with the rest of the globe.
